Our school has 10  class teachers, three full time Special Education Teacher (SET) and 1 shared SET. Our SETs work as part of the general school team and will work at various times with groups of pupils, either within the classroom setting or outside the classroom. Any pupil may be included in these groups from time to time. If a child is to attend for individual tuition parental / guardian’s permission will be sought.

The class grouping vary from year to year and are dictated by the number of teachers in the school set against the number of pupils.

The school follows the curricular programme set down by the DES, which includes the subjects Irish, English, Mathematics, SPHE (Social, Personal & Health Education), Music, Science, History, Geography, Physical Education & Drama. On occasion we will welcome others into our school to supplement the work of the staff in these areas. This programme may be amended from time to time by the DES.
